One of the greatest gifts we can offer family and friends is to help them die well. They may be ready to go, but we do not want to say goodbye. But there comes a time in which we need to give those we love the permission to return to God, from whom they came. Jesus died saying,"Father, into your hands I commit my Spirit." With these words on their lips or in their hearts, they can make the passage as Jesus did.

God is love, and it is Love alone that unites, completes, and fulfills all living beings. Love is our created image and therefore Love joins all of us at the deepest core of who we are. Since we were created for Love we need to imagine God's Love increasing upon the earth until it embraces the totality of God's creation. Love is the agent of universal fusion between God and man, and brings us all together as one.

How We Respond Matters Most by Robert Ricciardelli
Natural disasters and bad choices happen under God's sovereignty, and bad things happen to good people. Divine providence intersects with humanity seeking to restore while bringing light and hope to tragedy and darkness. We must change our questions from why things happen to how will we respond to the happenings. We must see beyond the challenges in this world and ask God, "What must I do in this present crisis."

Everything created by God has value. God has called it good, which makes everything meaningful and part of His plan. Overcoming the Fear of Failure by Robert Ricciardelli
Fear of failure hinders many, and they have refused to try because of past failures. Fear is the opposite of faith. Faith says I can do all things in God, and reminds us that as His children we live in His strength. Faith says, God said it, I believe Him, and I will go boldly with Him to accomplish much. Faith knows that obstacles come, but relies on a supernatural God to overcome all things on the road to success.

Planet Earth is in Need of You Now by Robert Ricciardelli
It is good to know and desire the promises of heaven, while not allowing heaven to be our primary goal. We must be about the Father's business of bringing good news to the captives while overcoming all obstacles with the prize in mind. We must remain spiritually present in every moment empowered by His presence to fulfill all that He desires. Heaven can most certainly wait, but planet earth is in need of you now.
