You do not have to go to church, but you do need to have fellowship, and others who will walk with you. Not in legalism but fellowship in the Body of Christ. So look for those who are not going to condemn you but lift you up, those who will not tolerate you, but celebrate you... Come join us on our network and you will find some friends there. wwww.convergingzone.com/one God bless youRobert Ricciardellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02160368258138662091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4430586908363955777.post-51431990335914288472010-11-14T19:27:16.501-08:002010-11-14T19:27:16.501-08:00I'm not sure what to think. I know the pastor too, and this friend is not disruptive, or rebellious. I was asked to leave the same church. I forgive, but don't ask me to go back there. Another church split over some insignificant issue. I sat in the meeting and listened to people from all over the room hurling insults at the pastor for the most absurd things. I knew if they did it to him, one day they would easily turn on me. That day came when I was falsely accused of something. People in that church stopped talking to me, stopped being my friend, I was unofficially shunned. My presence in that church, and any other I jump to, edifies no one, least of all me. I extend the hand of fellowship to all true sisters and brothers. With the other I reach for an unsaved friend. The church does not want me. I am forced to remain alone with Jesus. Like Elijah. Like Philip the evangelist in Acts 8. I don't have a home (church). I'm just out here sharing my faith, reading the word, praying, and loving the best I can. I can't do more, and I can't go to church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
